We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to provide essential support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and enabling the sales team to focus on generating revenue. This role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, preparing sales reports, and ensuring effective communication between sales and other departments. . The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting the sales team’s efforts to achieve their targets. Through demonstrated success, this role has the opportunity to receive promotions to take on greater sales responsibility.The Work You’ll Do

- Assist the sales team with daily administrative tasks, including managing schedules, arranging meetings, and preparing documents.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing prompt and accurate information.
- Process sales orders, ensuring all necessary details are captured and entered into the system.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Track and monitor the status of orders and provide updates to customers and the sales team.
- Resolve any order-related issues, such as delays, product availability, or payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for sales team and company management.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
- Assist in managing customer accounts, ensuring information is up-to-date.
- Support the sales team in follow-up activities, including thank-you notes, surveys, and feedback collection.
- Create and update sales presentations, proposals, and other sales collateral.
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations to align efforts and support sales initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless workflow.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
- Experience with sales reporting and data analysis.
- Familiarity with sales processes and order management systems.
- Knowledge of professional services and/or equity compensation.

The Work You’ll Do

- Stock plan administration and/or management activities
- Customer service to support employee inquiries on a variety of topics and issue-resolution related to equity compensation
- Work with industry software and vendors to effectively manage our clients’ plans
- Work with clients’ internal and external business partners, cross-functionally
- Maintenance of employee equity database
- Stock plan financial reporting activities/support
- Stock plan reconciliation activities/support
- SEC, audit and external reporting activities/support
- Participant education and training activities/support
- New plan roll outs and communications
- Management of project activities/support
- Follow, enhance and/or create policies and procedures of our clients
- Recognize opportunities for enhancement/implementation of best practices
- Assist in various other stock plan projects and initiatives as needed
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Stock plan administration experience
- ECA or CEP candidates, preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency and/or experience with industry platforms (direct)
- Experience with Equity Edge Online (EEO), Shareworks, or Fidelity PSW, preferred
- Experience with Carta, Certent, Schwab Equiview or other platforms, welcomed
- Equity compensation vendor experience is a plus
- Accounting and/or paralegal knowledge is a plus
