About the Role
Stock & Option Solutions is a growing, top-tier equity compensation services firm. We’re seeking an experienced Stock Administration Account Manager to join our Outsourcing team and support a diverse portfolio of clients.
This is a client-facing role for a stock administration professional who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and building trusted relationships. You’ll manage day-to-day equity plan administration while advising clients on best practices, compliance, and complex equity compensation matters.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end stock plan administration operations for assigned clients
- Serve as the primary client contact, building strong, long-term relationships
- Guide clients through equity processes and educate them on best practices
- Administer stock options, restricted stock, performance awards, and ESPPs
- Prepare and customize financial and administrative equity reports
- Complete Forms 3, 4, and 5 to support Section 16 compliance
- Support basic international plan administration
- Develop and deploy employee equity communications
- Provide private company support, including cap tables, shareholder tracking, and IPO transitions
- Research and resolve complex equity compensation issues
- Create, document, and implement policies and procedures
- Manage detailed project scopes, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee 8–10 client relationships within a defined book of business
- Assist with the development and rollout of new outsourcing services
- Ensure compliance with all internal procedures, including data security and privacy standards
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of corporate stock administration experience
- 2+ years managing corporate clients in a SaaS environment
- Expert knowledge of stock option and restricted stock administration
- Working knowledge of performance awards and employee stock purchase plans
- Strong understanding of accounting impacts related to equity compensation
- Working knowledge of Section 16, international plans, and brokerage processes
- Experience with at least two major equity platforms (Shareworks, E*Trade/EEO, Fidelity)
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency; strong MS Office skills (Google Workspace a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
- CEP II preferred, but not required
